THE LITTLE DETAILS
Privacy policy
A little game should come with a clear explanation of what happens to your information.
Effective and last updated: 10 October 2026
- Scores and preferences are saved on your device.
- Optional tilt readings are used temporarily for steering.
- The current game has no accounts, ads, analytics, or purchases.
- This website has no analytics scripts or tracking cookies.
1. Who we are and what this covers
Skyroll Pals is developed by Yılmaz İpekçi. This policy covers the current browser game, the iOS app containing the same game, and the companion website at ylms.me/skyrollpals. It describes the features currently implemented. If a future app release adds services or changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
For privacy questions or requests, email support@ylms.me.
2. Your game saves stay on your device
The game uses local storage to remember your selected pal, best height, best score, total stars, number of completed runs, sound preference, and Gentle motion preference. In the browser, these records are held in browser storage; the iOS app holds them in its on-device web-view storage. This lets the game show your personal bests and remember your choices next time.
These records are stored on your device. They are not sent to a developer-run game server. There is no account, cloud save, or remote player profile, and we cannot retrieve your local saves for you. The game does not save a complete ongoing run for later recovery.
Local saves remain until you clear them through your browser’s site-data controls, remove the iOS app and its data, your browser removes them, or they are otherwise deleted from your device. Clearing site data resets saved records and preferences. Browser or device backups are controlled by your browser or device provider.
3. Optional tilt steering
Tilt steering uses device-orientation readings to move your pal left and right. It starts only when you choose to enable it. On devices that require permission, the game asks for motion access after you tap the tilt control.
Orientation readings and calibration are used temporarily in memory during play. They are not saved with your progress, sent to us, or used for advertising or analytics. Tilt is not enabled automatically in a new page session.
You can turn tilt off in the game’s settings or manage motion permission in your browser or device settings. Disabling tilt stops the game’s orientation listener and clears its temporary steering state. Touch and keyboard controls remain available.
4. No game tracking or accounts
The current game does not contain advertising, analytics tools, in-app purchases, third-party tracking SDKs, or account registration. It does not send gameplay records, stars, scores, or tilt readings to us. The game and this website do not set tracking cookies.
Fonts, images, and game files are loaded from the site serving them. Clicking an external store or website link takes you to another service, which handles information under its own policy.
5. Visiting this website
The website serves its own fonts, images, and scripts. It has no analytics scripts, advertising, embedded social feeds, or tracking-cookie features. The pal selector changes the page in memory and does not create a saved visitor profile.
To deliver and secure a website, the hosting provider receives ordinary request information, which may include your IP address, requested page, request time, browser information, and referring page. The provider may keep operational or security logs. Hosting log settings and retention are determined by the hosting service; we do not promise a fixed retention period for those records. Contact us if you have a question about a website request.
6. When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, such as a device description or screenshot. We use this information to answer your question, investigate an issue, and keep relevant support records. Our email provider also processes the correspondence to deliver and store email.
Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and maintain relevant records, subject to any applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of correspondence we hold. Please send only information needed to explain the issue.
7. Your choices and rights
- Local saves: clear the game’s site data in your browser, or delete the iOS app and its data, to remove saved scores and preferences.
- Motion: disable tilt in the game or change permission in your device or browser settings.
- Support information: email us to ask about information you have sent us or request its correction or deletion.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal information, withdraw permission where applicable, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise rights concerning information we hold. We may need to verify that a request relates to you. Information controlled by a browser, device, store, hosting, or email provider may also require contacting that provider.
8. Children and personal information
The current game does not ask for a name, age, email address, or personal account profile. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us through a support message, contact us so we can investigate and respond, including deleting it where appropriate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Skyroll Pals evolves. The date above identifies the latest version. Material changes to information handling will be explained here and, where needed, through the game.
